The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health is a nationally recognised qualification covering the main legal requirements for health and safety in the UK, a range of workplace hazards and methods of control.
Course Structure
The NEBOSH National General Certificate consists of three units:
Unit NGC1: Health and Safety Management*
Unit NGC2: Controlling Workplace Hazards
Unit NGC3: Practical Assessment
Candidates are assessed with written examinations for each of the two taught units. A unit certificate is issued denoting successful achievement of each unit. A certificate award parchment is issued on completion of the two units and the practical assessment.
* Unit NGC1 can be used as a pre-entry for the NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate and NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health. The first five days of each course covered Unit NGC1.

Those with Health and Safety responsibilities, including managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organisations who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues. Many people also take the NEBOSH Certificate as a first step on a career in health and safety. It provides a valuable overview, and is a sound basis for further professional study.

Duration:
Block Release - 2 weeks (10 days). Plus Revision & Examination(2 days)
Time: 9.00am - 5.00pm
