The NEBOSH National Diploma provides the core health and safety knowledge (transferable across industry, commerce and the public sector) which, combined with understanding and appropriate application, underpins the competent performance of an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner.
Course Structure
The NEBOSH National Diploma comprises of four core units:
Unit A - Managing Health and Safety
Unit B - Hazardous Agents in the Workplace
Unit C - Workplace and Work Equipment
Unit D - Workplace-based Assignment
Candidates are assessed with written examinations for each of the three taught units and one assignment (Unit D).
Examinations take place in January and July.
Entry Requirements
The NEBOSH Diploma syllabus assumes a broad basic knowledge of health and safety. The achievement of NEBOSH General Certificate or direct equivalent prior to undertaking the Diploma course is highly recommended. Candidates must complete an application form before the booking can be confirmed.
