The NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate has been designed for managers, supervisors, employee representatives and those embarking in a role with fire safety responsibility and aims to equip holders to contribute to the conduct and review of fire risk assessments and fire preventive and protective measures within most workplaces.
Course Structure
The full NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management consists of three units:
NGC1: Health and Safety Management*
FC1: Fire Safety and Risk Management
FC2: Practical Fire Risk Assessment (conducted in delegate's own workplace)
Candidates must successfully complete all three units to achieve the overall qualification. Unit NGC1 is also common to the NEBOSH National General Certificate. Those who have achieved the National General Certificate or passed Paper A1 within the last five years will only have to take and pass FC1 and FC2.
