Making a 'duly made' application can seem a daunting task, planned well and with help and direction, this process can be managed effectively.
What is IPPC? Does it affect me?
The Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations are affecting a growing number of sectors including the likes of ferrous metals, chemicals, glass, waste disposal, pharmaceuticals, food and drink etc.
Whether you are obligated therefore depends upon the type of process you operate and whether you meet the criteria laid down for your specific industrial sector.
Those companies obligated must submit process information and environmental data to the regulator, as well as demonstrating effective management of emissions to air, land and water in order to gain a permit to operate.
This application must be 'duly made' within a specific application window, again which dependent on industry sector.
